Programme Details Registration Form

AIMA’s Global Advanced Management Programme (GAMP) is one of the most sought after top management programme in India.  After conducting 4 successful programmes in China, AIMA is organizing GAMP–2012 under the theme “Global Competitiveness through Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship: Lessons from US Companies” in collaboration with Robert H Smith School of Business at University of Maryland – an internationally recognized leader in management education and research – during July 15-21, 2012 at Washington DC and Silicon Valley, USA.

In the short run, any company or any country can move forward purely on the basis of inherited resources or low labor costs. Long-run success, however, requires a never-ending quest for innovation in every element of the value chain – from technology and sourcing at the upstream end to marketing, sales, distribution, and after-sales service at the downstream-end. This programme is designed to help senior executives learn from the experiences and best practices of some of the world’s leading edge companies and entrepreneurs based in the U.S.

Why the U.S.? Notwithstanding the rise of emerging economies, the United States continues to be the world’s pre-eminent leader in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. There are several contributing factors: the world’s largest economy, the world’s strongest higher education system, highly developed private and public capital markets, a country of immigrants, a culture that worships novelty and change rather than the past, and a proclivity to view failure as an opportunity to learn rather than as a badge of shame. It’d still take China and India several decades to catch up with the U.S. in all of these innovation drivers. Thus, U.S. based companies and entrepreneurs provide a rich resource to learn from.

The Programme offers its major learning through a combination of Class Room Lectures, Small Group Work, Case Discussions, Presentations, Executive Panels and Site Visits to and interaction with the top management teams of leading companies in US. The learning experience will be very intensive and interactive.

Upon the successful completion of the programme, participants will be conferred a "Global Advanced Management Programme" Certificate awarded jointly by All India Management Association & Robert H Smith School of Business at University of Maryland.

Take advantage of this unique learning opportunity by participating and also nominating senior officials from your organization to the Programme. As the seats are limited to 30, registrations would be accepted on first-come-first-serve basis.
