NATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONVENTION

Focusing on a theme of national importance, the Annual Convention, which is the flagship event of AIMA, seeks to generate an invigorating debate and through this provide an international forum for the management community to discuss and recommend policy options in specific areas of management.

The Convention attracts over 1000 managers representing all levels in different sectors of business, industry and academics every year – and is rotated round India.

A leading consulting firm is invited to be the Partner Consultant for the Convention. A National Committee is formed to guide AIMA in planning and conducting the Convention. The Committee comprises eminent professionals from industry, academia and policy makers, and meets twice or thrice prior to the Convention.

The 33rd Convention was held on 6 & 7 October, 2006 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, with The Monitor Group as the Partner Consultant.

The proceedings of the Convention have been brought out as a publication and in CD format and is widely distributed.
