What is the age limit for various categories

1.

General - 25 years as on 1st April 2007.
2. OBC - age relaxation of 3 years.
3. SC - age relaxation of 5 years.
4. ST - age relaxation of 5 years.
5. PHP - age relaxation of 5 years.
6. Ex-Serviceman - as per Government norms.
7. KM - age relaxation of 5 years.
8. PHP & OBC - age relaxation of 8 years.
9. PHP & SC/ST - age relaxation of 10 years.
10. KM & OBC - age relaxation of 8 years.
11. KM & SC/ST - age relaxation of 10 years.


What are the cutoff points for various categories?

Do I need to have the Demand Draft ready before filling up the application form?

Yes. You will need to provide certain details from the DD at the time of online submission of application form.


What is the amount for the DD to be sent?

The amount for the DD is Rs.300/- for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PHP candidates.


In whose favour should the DD be made?

The DD should be in favour of "Bharat Electronics Limited" drawn preferably on State Bank of India, payable at SBI, New Delhi.


Where the DD should be payable at?

The DD should be payable at New Delhi.

Which are the documents to be sent at Post Box No. 3076, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003?

1. Print out of the filled online application form having auto generated Regisration Number with phtograph affixed  and duly signed.

2. Demand Draft duly endorsed with your name and online application Registration No. on the reverse.

  • Please do not send any other supporting documents.


    What is an auto generated Registration Number?

    An auto generated Registration Number is a unique number allotted to you on successful submission of online application form and will appear on print version of the application form. This Number will be required for accessing, downloading and printing the written test call letter that will be placed on the BEL website on 28.04.2007.


    Before which date should I send the DD?

  • The DD must be sent to the above mentioned address on or before 30/04/2007.
