The maximum age limit for General candidates as on 01.04.2007 will be 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
In respect of PHP candidates upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years. In respect of PHP candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, the age relaxation admissible will be over and above the relaxation admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC.
For candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for General candidates, 8 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for SC/ST candidates.
Relaxation will be extended as per Govt guidelines in respect of Ex-Serviceman.
Candidates selected against the above position, will be placed in E-II grade, at the minimum of the pay scale of Rs.8600-250-14600/-. In addition, they will be entitled to DA, HRA, CCA, Conveyance Allowance, Medical Reimbursement and other perquisites as admissible. Pay scales are due for revision w.e.f. 01.01.2007.
RESERVATION OF POSTS WILL BE MADE AS PER GOVT DIRECTIVES.
Selection will be through written test and interview of shortlisted candidates based on performance in the written test.
Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online application is accepted are required to log on to the website and enter their auto generated Registration Number, to access and download their written test call letter. Candidates are required to print the call letter and comply with instructions indicated therein. Please note that call letters will not be sent through e-mail or through conventional mail.
Candidates, whose applications are accepted through the process of submission of online applications, are eligible to attend the written test at the respective centre.
THE WRITTEN TEST WILL BE TENTATIVELY HELD ON 13.05.2007.
The written test will be held at Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and
Guwahati centers. Candidates should choose the test centre nearest to their
place of correspondence. SC/ST/PHP candidates will be reimbursed II
class to and fro train fare by the shortest route from their correspondence
address to the written test exam centre for attending the written test on production
of Railway Ticket Receipts and copy of the relevant caste / disability certificate,
without which no reimbursement will be made.
The written test will consist of objective type questions from basic Engineering subjects in the respective disciplines / specializations and General Aptitude . The list of candidates shortlisted in the written test will appear on the BEL website tentatively on 31.05.2007. They will be required to appear for an interview for final selection. The results of selection will be available on the BEL website through query mode.
i) Only Indian Nationals need apply.
ii) GEN / OBC candidates applying for the above posts are required
to forward a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.300/- and SC/ST/PHP candidates are required to make a DD for
Rs.50/- in favour of BHARAT ELECTRONICS LIMITED, drawn
preferably on State Bank of India, payable at SBI, New Delhi alongwith the
print out of the filled online application form having auto generted Registration Number
with photograph affixed and duly signed, so as to reach Post Box No.
3076, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before 30/04/2007. Please indicate your name and auto generated
Registration No. on the reverse side of the D.D. The written test call
letters of candidates who are provisionally eligible will be uploaded on the
website on 28.04.2007. However, candidates will be permitted to attend the
written test only if their DDs for the prescribed amount are received on or
before 30.04.2007.
iii) Candidates employed in Govt. Quasi-Govt.
and Public Sector Undertaking will be required to produce ‘No Objection
Certificate’ at the time of interview without which they will not be allowed to
appear for the interview.
iv) SERVICE AGREMENT: Selected candidates will be required to undergo an Orientation / On-the-job training for a period of 6 months. They will be required to execute a Service Agreement to serve the company for a period of 3 years after training and should be willing to serve in any of our Units/Regional Offices. The original Degree Certificate will be retained by the Company for the period of the Service Agreement and returned to the candidate after completion of the same.
v) The total number of posts allocated to each specialization may be increased or decreased based on the actual requirement at the time of recruitment at the discretion of Management.
vi) Appointment of the selected candidates will be subject to being found medically fit by the Company’s Medical Authorities.
vii) There will be no separate communication to any candidates on their non-selection at any stage.
viii) In respect of Physically Handicapped Persons, the degree of disability that the candidate should have, for consideration under the category, will be as prescribed by Government norms.
ix) Candidates may opt to answer the written test question paper in English or Hindi.
x) Candidates whose Degree Certificate does not tally with the branch mentioned in the application will not be considered for interview.
xi) BEL reserves the right to debar you at any stage of the written test / interview proceedings, if your candidature is not considered suitable for any reason.
