"Transforming Capitalism"

The book is about business corporations’ responsibilities to society, and is in four parts. The book talks of some recent issues that have embroiled respected corporations in controversies and describes typical ways in which corporations, conditioned by their metaphorical genes, relate to society. It also discusses changes required in the nature of conversations between business and civil society to facilitate a more systemically integrated role for corporations. It captures some reflections on meta ideas guiding the prevalent paradigm of human socioeconomic development, which are shaping the institutions of economic progress, including business corporations.
The book release function will start at 1900 hrs. and will be followed by a panel discussion. The panel shall include Mr Mani Shankar Aiyar, Member of Parliament, Mr Arun Maira, Member, Planning Commission, Government of India, Mr Gautam Thapar, Group Chairman, Avantha Group and would be moderated by Mr Pranjal Sharma, Senior Executive Editor, Bloomberg UTV.
