Background
Manager makes decisions every day. Ideally such decisions are based on evidence thoughtfully and appropriately gathered. The more important the decision and its impact, the more important the research becomes.
For management research to progress, it is important for researchers to access the methods they employ. The impact of management studies depends upon the appropriateness and rigour of the research method chosen. Design choice about instrumentation, data analysis and construct validation and more may affect the type of conclusion that is drawn. (Sackett & Larson 1990).
There is a need for understanding the fundamental concepts in research methodology and at the same time to get updated on the merging research tools and mathematical model. The upcoming statistical software can also come as convenience tool.
