GUIDELINES TO THE PARTICIPATING TEAMS
SCOPE OF THE PRESENTATION
RULES FOR THE PARTICIPATING TEAMS FOR WRITTEN PRESENTATIONS
The written presentation should preferably be typed (double space) on bond paper, (size 11”*8”), leaving 3 cms margin and should be between 2000 to 3000 words.  Charts, diagrams, etc. may be included to support any research work or data collection.

The first page of the written presentation should have the format as given below:

Each team is required to submit 6 copies of their written Report to the respective LMA where the Regional Competition will be held & two copies of written Report  to AIMA.

RULES FOR THE PARTICIPATING TEAMS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS
  1. Each team will get a total of 30 minutes for the oral presentation as well as the discussion.   The members of the team will use the first 15 minutes for presentation and the subsequent 15 minutes will be used for discussion with the Panel of Judges.  It is mandatory that all the three members should participate in making the presentation.
  2. After first 13 minutes of the presentation by any member of the team, there would be an indication of remaining 2 minutes to complete the presentation.  If any team stretches the Presentation beyond the time limit of 15 minutes, there would be negative marking for same.  At the completion of 30 minutes time limit for total presentation, there would again be indication to wind up the discussion.
  3. The two best teams selected at Regional Competition will be required to send (1)  6 extra copies of their Written Report along with a copy in CD  (word document)  Abstract of presentation (3)  Pass Port Size photographs (4) Brief resume of members  within a week to AIMA for the National Competition.  No change from the original should be permitted at any stage.  In case, AIMA finds any modification either in content or style of presentation from the original, the team will be debarred from participating in the Final Competition.
  4. The date, time and venue for the Regional Competition will be decided by the respective LMAs and will be made known from them/AIMA.  Participating teams are also requested to get in touch with their Regional Centre and AIMA.
  5. The  LCD Projector and laptop will be provided both at the respective Regional Centre & at the Grand Finale at New Delhi.  The presentation in CD be  must be checked.   The team should arrange on their own any other audio visual aids they would require for their presentation.
  6. No team will submit fresh/written report on the day of National Finals.
  7. All written presentations will be property of AIMA and no team can publish it, in part or whole, without the written permission of AIMA.
  8. The teams should bring main findings and points in their presentation before the Judges.
  9. The decision of the Panel of Judges will be final and binding on the participating teams.
  10. Decision of AIMA will be final in all respects in matters relating to the Competition.
